MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Scientist to join our team in California, MD. This is a hybrid position, with 4 days onsite, and 1 remote.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design and develop data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau or similar analytics software (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense) to provide actionable insights from complex datasets
- Analyze technology/capability gaps, then research, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions to improve the final solution and expedite solution deployment
- Work closely with other developers to design and optimize the solution for performance, adaptability, and maintainability
- Conduct thorough unit, integration, and cybersecurity testing and remediate identified bugs throughout development cycles
- Assist in the creation of clear and concise technical documentation, user guides and training material for the developed solution
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard development using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, or similar business intelligence tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proven experience managing small projects and drafting associated planning documentation, such as schedules and Work Breakdown Structures
- Ability to translate complex data into easily understandable visual reports for diverse stakeholders
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current or active secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
