Epsilon Systems Solutions is seeking a Submarine Fire Control Technician II in San Diego, CA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a system and equipment specialist the duties will include, but not be limited to the following:
Directing repairs for submarine installed Forward Electronic systems and equipment.

The pay range for this role is $32.30 - $39.50 hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a system and equipment specialist the duties will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Assisting in the planning and technical execution of tasks within the Submarine Battle Plan Systems Section.
- Directing installation and support techniques in all areas of Submarine target detection (SONAR), prosecution for destruction and Fire Control systems, and equipment.
- Provide technical assistance to maintain these systems and associated equipment, including procurement, installation, at-sea testing, corrective maintenance, and management.
- Planning, implementing, and executing technical projects and programs for the Submarine Forward Electronic Systems.
- Ensuring interface with in service engineering agent (ISEA), system program offices and other government agencies and contractors.
Directing repairs for submarine installed Forward Electronic systems and equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Six (6) years' experience with Submarine forward electronic systems.
- Independently or leading a team accomplishing formal
material condition assessments (Ex. TSRA, ICMP, INSURV or similar) of
U.S. Navy ship's systems. - Ability to interpret naval engineering drawings and piping
diagrams. - Must be proficient in MS Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Requires walking, reaching, sitting and concentration in the presence of occasional noise
- Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs. in weight
- Ability to work in office, warehouse, laboratory, pier side, and shipboard locations.
- Noise conditions range from very quiet to loud, hearing protection may be required at times.
- May ride submarines at sea.
- May require wearing a respirator
