Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of such experience include the following:1) Managing the execution of the requirements of an Acquisition Manager for major complex aviation Support Equipment (SE) systems, 2) Evaluating Common and Peculiar Support Equipment requirements, developing and evaluating procurement strategies in accordance with site SE stand-up and sustainment requirements, and working with members of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to execute the acquisition of SE procurements within program constraints of cost, schedule and performance, 3) Managing, monitoring, evaluating, and coordinating the execution of Military Standards Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) for Support Equipment, 4) Advising and briefing management on the development and implementation of procurement strategies and acquisition status to meet logistics support objectives for projects and programs, and 5) Communicating orally and in writing to enhance the quality and effectiveness of SE acquisition support measures.

- You will be responsible for developing, implementing and functioning as part of a logistics management operation for a department involved in providing logistical support to a specified mission, weapons system or other designated program.
- You will advise on product and logistics matters, business planning, metrics management, and all other aspects of logistics management within the area of responsibility.
- You will track and analyze data to detect trends and/or causes for declining performance.
- You will coordinate and assist in the development of logistics planning requirements for program management plans.
