Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation: Create and manage database structures that align with user requirements and business needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Data Management: Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, and dictionaries; perform data migration and transformation processes.
- Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage database backup and recovery procedures to prevent data loss.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, data analysts, and system administrators to ensure data integrity and support application development.
- Security: Protect databases against unauthorized access and threats, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation related to database design, configuration, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree are preferred with a minimum of sixteen (16) year's relevant experience with the following skillsets:
- Experience in database engineering or administration roles, with familiarity in cloud databases, cross domain solutions, and big data environments.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with various database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and convert it into actionable insights.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills to identify and resolve database-related issues promptly.
