Description
Vistra is seeking an experienced Business Operations Analyst to provide comprehensive operations and analysis support in multiple functional and programmatic areas. The Business Operations Analyst will track office requirements, handle formal coordination of DoD correspondence and taskers, and manage recurring stakeholder meetings.
This position is primarily remote but is required to reside in the National Capital Region (NCR), with ad hoc on-site requirements at the Mark Center and/or Pentagon.

The Business Operations Analyst will track office requirements, handle formal coordination of DoD correspondence and taskers, and manage recurring stakeholder meetings.

- Monitor and catalog requirements, handle formal coordination of DoD correspondence and taskers, and coordinate and manage recurring stakeholder meetings
- Prepare reports, presentations, and executive communications.
- Analyze and draft policies and assesses compliance with laws, regulations, and
- Recommendations (e.g., Government Accountability Office [GAO], DoD Inspector General [DoDIG])
- Draft clear and concise written products with high attention to detail (e.g., briefings, action memoranda)
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shift focus to address changing priorities
- Prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Provide clear verbal and written communications to a variety of stakeholders in alignment with DoD style expectations
- Perform other tasks as requested
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of directly related experience working in the DoD, VA, or other Federal agency
- 3+ years of program analysis, policy, or strategic communications experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to draft clear and concise written products with high attention to detail (e.g., briefings, action memoranda)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shift focus to address changing priorities
- Ability to critically think, examine complex issues, and identify/strategically communicate gaps and possible solutions
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Previous DoD program analysis, policy, or strategic communications experience
- Experience preparing DoD correspondence package components (e.g., memos, action memos)
- Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and programs
- Experiencing assessing compliance with laws, regulations, and/or recommendations (e.g., GAO, DoDIG)
- Experience working in a military environment or with military personnel
- Knowledge of the DoD and the Federal Government's (e.g., Washington Headquarters Services) policy development process
