MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Windows Systems Administrator to join our team in College Park, Maryland.
The position is part of a team that provides Windows Systems Administration support for an organization that is tasked with researching challenging problems within the Intelligence Community.

The position is part of a team that provides Windows Systems Administration support for an organization that is tasked with researching challenging problems within the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Will work with a small team to provide a full range of systems administration capability to a dynamic team of researchers at the Laboratory for Physical Sciences
- Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices and peripherals
- Provides Tier 1 through Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to the supported organization's management and internal customers
- Manages and maintains Windows VMs and operating systems, including installation, configuration, integrity checks, network configuration, and performance enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of System Administration experience
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V, and File and Storage Services
- Experience with RDS-based VDI, including user provisioning and basic performance troubleshooting
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server administration, including mailbox management, database maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Experience with backup and recovery platforms (Data Protection Manager or equivalent enterprise solutions)
- Strong documentation and communication skills, including maintaining runbooks and checklists
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree computer science or a related area
Security Clearance Requirements:
- TS/SCI w/ FSP
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
- Needs to install various IT devices in racks and on desktops
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
