MeF Security Architect

Lead security architecture to evolve the MeF in alignment with the Federal Customer future state architecture. Serve as Customer key Point-of-Contact for security security-related decisions. Drive remediating of security vulnerabilities proactively and based upon security scanning reports. Make recommendations for increasing MeF DevSecOps maturity. Drive recommendations and provide guidance related to the Portal, which hosts several MeF applications. This role is set for one year, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend MeF security solution architectures - estimated 25%
• Provide recommendations/architectural options and solutions, especially related to security for migrating MeF to containers and to the Cloud - estimated 25%
• Coordinate team activities related to security vulnerability remediation and responding to customer requests - estimated 15%
• Attend meetings and provide recommendations related to the Portal within which MeF applications run - 15%
• Maintain and/or create contractual deliverables in accordance with Customer templates - estimated 10%
• Provide LoE estimates for Impact Assessments and VROMs - estimated 5%
• Provide recommendations for implementing DevSecOps practices on MeF - estimated 5%

Requirements

• Active IRS MBI or Secret Clearance
• CISSP Certification
• Experience developing, in collaboration with stakeholders, including customers, partners, project teams, and vendors, security architectures for large, complex programs - 8+ years
• Experience in leading team(s) of architects and/or developers - 8+ years
• Strong customer communication skills, both oral and written - 8+ years
• Experience developing security architecture for applications running in the Cloud - 5+ years
• Experience developing security architecture for applications running in containers - 5+ years
• Experience developing security solutions for AWS GovCloud - 2+ years
• Experience with microservices security - 4+ years
• Experience with architecting Spring Boot applications - 2+ years
• Experience enhancing Portal architectures - 4+ years
• Experience in developing DevSecOps solutions on complex projects - 4+ years
• Experience with the Linux platform - 4+ years
• Experience with CM tools, such as IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and Git SCM - 4+ years
• Experience developing (V)ROM estimates in response to requests for new work - 3+ years
• Skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Engineering Workflow Management (EWM), formerly Rational Team Concert (RTC)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
