Alutiiq Solutions, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opening for a (Junior) Administrative Assistant in Patuxent River, MD. Alutiiq Solutions, LLC provides professional administrative and operational support services to the executive leadership of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and to the NAVAIR Command Operations Group. The Senior Leadership Support (SLS) Team members provide support in a variety of administrative roles, including but not limited to meeting support for the Commander's conference room, executive support for the Command Operations Director and Deputy Director, conference room reservation support, secure space access management, and executive-level meeting coordination and support.
Acitive Secret Security clearance required.
The Junior Administrative Assistant position is the primary support contact for executive-level meetings in the NAVAIR Commander's conference room. Responsibilities include:

The Junior Administrative Assistant position is the primary support contact for executive-level meetings in the NAVAIR Commander's conference room. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinates daily with the NAVAIR Commander's staff regarding all activities in the Commander's conference room
- Receives and stages electronic briefings and other meeting materials from various sources, sometimes with very little lead time prior to scheduled meetings
- Operates the conference room audio visual system (training provided) to display briefing materials during high level meetings; listens and responds to verbal cues to move briefing slides as needed
- Ensures cleanliness of the conference room and operability of its systems, and contacts technical support as needed
- Communicates effectively and professionally with executives and their support staff to maintain the planned schedules
- Maintains strict confidentiality
- Provides back-up support to other SLS team members as needed, including: greets and assists office visitors, provides reservation assistance for several conference rooms, processes visit requests using the BASICS II system, screens users needing access to secure spaces using the DISS system, performs other administrative duties as assigned
- May be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials
Payrate: $34.00 to $36.00 Hourly
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Active DoD SECRET security clearance, and maintains confidentiality.
- At least one (3+) years' experience in a customer and business-oriented position.
- Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and the standard Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner.
- Must be able to obtain base access.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time at a computer station during meetings
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
