Summary: Provide Miniature/Microminiature (2M) )/Module Test and Repair (MTR) Electronics Repair repair support to our customer related to U.S. Navy ships and vessels.

The pay range for this role is $33.93-$35.02 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Summary: Provide Miniature/Microminiature (2M) )/Module Test and Repair (MTR) Electronics Repair repair support to our customer related to U.S. Navy ships and vessels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and equipment maintenance for Miniature/Microminiature (2M) Module Test and repair programs in accordance with the 2M/MTR Certification Manual, NAVSEA, Fleet, and other local instructions.
- Maintain certification in U.S. Navy Miniature/Microminiature (2M)/Module Test and Repair (MTR) Electronics Repair (2M). Recertification is required every 18 months per the Navy 2M certification program.
- 2M Service: troubleshoot electronic circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and modules. Meet U.S. Navy standards for removal and replacement of electronic components on various CCAs and modules as required by provided references.
- Bird Track/2M Circuit Card/Piece Parts Management: maintain the Bird Track system, update the 2M progress of CCAs and modules for troubleshooting and repair in the Web Portal 2M Shop Tracker.
- Maintain 2M RAM inventory, and perform and document monthly spot-checks to ensure the accuracy of inventory in Bird Track.
- Maintain communications with ships' force and General Supply Specialist (GSS), and ensure piece parts management. Work in conjunction with the GSS team to ensure correct parts are ordered.
- Cannon, CAT-5, and Radio Frequency (RF) Connector Repair: troubleshoot and repair military grade Cannon, CAT-5 and RF connectors using associated wiring diagrams.
- Provide on-site assistance to fleet personnel in analyzing and resolving 2M/MTR issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Possess U.S. Navy Fiber Optic Certification.
- Possess U.S. Navy Fiber Optic Certification and repair ST, SC, LC, and termini style fiber optic connectors in accordance with Navy fiber optic standards referenced
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Four (4) years full-time experience in 2M/MTR Inspector support.
- Must have held Microminiature and MTR certifications
- Must be proficient in MS Office
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have active certification in U.S. Navy Miniature/Microminiature (2M)/Module Test and Repair (MTR) Electronics Repair (2M)
- Have completed a previous tour as a 2M/MTR Inspector and/or 2M Instructor
