Systems Engineer - Conventional Prompt Strike

Contract Position

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Test & Integration Engineering - Support hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testing across system components.
- Requirements Engineering - Analyze, document, and manage system requirements to ensure traceability and design compliance.
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) - Create and maintain system models, perform design simulations, and analyze functional behavior using MBSE tools.
- Hardware-Systems Engineering - Lead or support design, integration, and troubleshooting of embedded or stand-alone hardware systems.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related STEM field; Master's degree accepted in lieu of experience.
- 2+ years of relevant systems engineering experience (or advanced degree).
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance required at time of hire.
- Working knowledge of systems engineering principles, including requirements management and system modeling tools (e.g., DOORS, Cameo, Rhapsody).
- Experience with Agile development environments preferred.
- On-site work or occasional travel may be required depending on program phase.
