Position Description
Serco is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join a satellite communications team located in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, collaborative, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on team empowerment & personal responsibility.
This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain/transfer an active DoD Secret security clearance.

- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications
- Write clean, efficient code
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues
- Participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with team members on various projects
- Contribute to documentation and user guides

Qualifications
To be Successful in this role, you will have:
- A U.S. citizenship
- The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- A High School Diploma, be enrolled in an accredited college
- or university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
- Novice experience with C++, C#, and/or Java
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
