Essential Duties
Test Planning & Execution
- Develop test plans, procedures, and data analysis strategies to evaluate system upgrades.
- Conduct dry runs and test events to validate system functionality and data collection methods.
- Identify realistic and effective test methods using live fire, simulations, or Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) environments.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze test data using tools such as MATLAB and JMP to determine system performance.
- Evaluate effectiveness, suitability, and mission compliance using statistically valid methodologies.
- Generate detailed technical reports, evaluation briefs, and deficiency reports with recommendations.
Collaboration & Evaluation
- Work with cross-functional teams to assess mission requirements and expected system performance.
- Review and provide feedback on documentation, training materials, and safety evaluations.
- Assist other analysts with reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of test activities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in test design, execution, and analysis for Ground-Based Radar systems or similar technical operational environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently evaluate system effectiveness and reliability.
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting technical documentation and test results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using MATLAB and JMP for data analysis.
- Understanding of Design of Experiments (DoE) principles.
- Familiarity with USAF and USSF test and evaluation directives and protocols.
- Background in Developmental or Operational Testing.
- Experience with any of the following mission systems:
- Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS)
- Upgraded Early Warning Radars (UEWR)
- Ground-Based Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance (GEODSS)
- Space Domain Awareness (SDA)
- Missile Defense Awareness (MDA)
- Orbital Warfare (OW)
- Electronic Warfare (EW)
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field is preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience may be combined for total years of experience.
Required Clearance
- Secret with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI
