About The Role
Peraton is seeking a Communications Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Herndon, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative is intended to modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework to better support the services provided to CA's customers.
As part of the modernization program, the Communications Analyst will lead the development and execution of the internal and external communications strategy for the organization to ensure operational efficiency. This role will report to the Organizational Change Management (OCM) lead and work closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders to ensure that all communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company's goals and values. Phenomenal writing skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and strong communications will be essential to this position.

Details
Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop key messaging and content that provides comprehensive, integrated communications and engagement strategies for large-scale transformations inclusive of organizational changes and process/technology modernization.
- Drive communications across multi-disciplinary project teams, partnering with business leaders, stakeholders, and project teams to meet business objectives, increase efficiencies, and enhance the quality and impact of strategic communications.
- Provide oversight ofprogram-levelcommunications products, ensuringcohesion with senior leaders, securing the highest quality control standards.
- Set guidelines for, monitor, and conduct strategic communication and outreach tasks, including strategy and messaging development, communications products development, presentation development, feedback collection and analysis, and project and results tracking and improvement.
- Monitor and track issues and risks related to communication and engagement strategies, including articulating complex challenges and developing solutions based on best practices and research.
- Establish and evaluate lessons-learned and best practices that can be applied to future projects and engagements.
- Assist the OCM team with change activities, including stakeholder assessments, change impact analyses, organizational readiness initiatives, change management strategies, communication deliverables, and engagement tracking.
- Duties may involve the development of products and services as well as project management and oversight.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and at least (five) 5 years of recent, relevant work experience or Master's Degree and 3-4 years' of experience.
- Superior communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships among all levels of an organization and with customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage and communicate multiple tasks at a given time.
- Experience interfacing with government customers to understand, interpret, and analyze requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior management, supervising the execution of established plans while leading team members.
- Proven ability to leverage PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Forms, SharePoint, WordPress, and Microsoft Teams to assist in implementing established work plans, articulating complex issues, analyzing data, and executing communication activities.
- Must be capable of working in an environment that is demanding, and requires independent thinking, problem resolution, and responsible actions with minimal direct oversight by senior management.
- Must be able to obtain or have an Active Secret (or higher) clearance. Interim clearances acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in Change Management and communications providing tactical execution of change strategies and communications plans following a structured change management methodology.
- Proven ability to lead a team in a dynamic client environment.
- Experience working in a federal IT related industry.
