Description

Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is a prime contractor providing manpower and support of IT Operations and Maintenance for the SOCOM SOCRATES Network. We are currently looking for a Senior System Administrator to support enterprise wide solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the program offices with Tier II and Tier III technical services including hardware and software procurements.
• Providing server and storage support to serve units in a geographical area based on availability of communication networks.
• Ensure the patching and administration of the following services:
• ESRI ArcGIS Advanced Server, ArcGIS Portal Extension, ArcSDE, ArcView Desktop
• MS SQL Server 2012/2016, SQL Management Studio and T-SQL
• Microsoft Server 2012/2016 (and older versions)
• Active Directory and the use of group policies, to provide configuration coordination and recommendations for SGE security group creation
• SGE Integrator: o Python, JavaScript, D3, DOJO, Silverlight,
• MS Visual Studio
• VMWare
• Install and troubleshoot Dell PowerEdge MX and FX2 chassis' and Dell PowerEdge FC blade servers.
• Comfortable with various networking technologies to include Cisco Nexus and ACI.
• Acquainted with various storage technologies to include NAS, SAN, FC, FCoE, NFS and iSCSI.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including OCONUS travel.

Requirements

• Must have an active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ or other 8570 IAT II certification.
• Valid Passport.
• A bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical discipline is preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in installing and maintaining Windows Server Operating Systems.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification desired.
• Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certification preferred.
• VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) preferred.
• Some experience using ESRI ArcGIS Server products is preferred.
• Experience with Geospatial Data Formats: KML/KMZ, Shapefiles, Geo-databases (File, Personal, SDE), GeoPDF preferred
• Experience working on a small team with Software Developers is advantageous.
• Previous military or DoD experience is ideal in order to articulate the customer requirements.
• Candidate must be detail oriented and possess good communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
• Must be able to operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
• Will contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
