The Business Development (BD) Coordinator supports Technatomy's Growth Team by assisting with opportunity research, partner coordination, data management, and reporting activities across the federal business development lifecycle. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in government contracting, capture management, or federal business development. The BD Coordinator works closely with Capture Managers and BD leadership to maintain opportunity pipelines, manage CRM data, coordinate meetings, and support the pursuit of new business opportunities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research opportunities using websites and portals such as SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, GovWin, FPDS, and USAspending.

• Conduct competitor research and analysis using public and subscription databases.

• Maintain and update partner management records in the company's CRM.

• Coordinate with teaming partners for RFIs, NDAs, TAs, and capture discussions.

• Enter, track, and validate opportunity data in the CRM system.

• Manage and analyze award and market reports (Excel).

• Prepare and maintain capability and partner matrices using GovDash and other BD tools.

• Support the scheduling and coordination of internal pipeline, interest, and pursuit meetings.

• Manage BD-related document libraries in SharePoint and create/maintain Microsoft Teams sites.

• Assist in preparing and formatting RFI responses and other early capture documents.

• Generate and distribute weekly and monthly pipeline reports.

• Support the analysis and identification of potential teaming partners for active opportunities.

• Develop "meatball charts," capability summaries, and other visual aids to support capture strategy.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support BD and capture operations.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Ability to learn and navigate CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical and research skills.

• Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

• Familiarity with the federal acquisition lifecycle and procurement portals (SAM.gov, GSA, FPDS).

• Exposure to APMP or Shipley business development and capture principles.

• Experience with tools such as GovWin, GovDash, and SharePoint.

• Prior internship or work experience in a federal contracting or BD environment.

• APMP Foundation certification or plans to obtain within 6 months of hire.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field; OR

• Associate's degree with active enrollment toward a bachelor's degree; OR

• One year of experience supporting BD or capture activities within a government contracting organization.

CLEARANCE:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

WORK LOCATION:

• Remote
