Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
- Set Up and Manage Linux Servers: Configure, deploy, and maintain robust Linux server environments.
- Ensure System Integrity: Apply timely fixes, patches, and upgrades to keep our systems running smoothly.
- Resolve Complex Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve server-related problems with precision and efficiency.
- Customer Account Administration: Manage and administer customer accounts to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Implement Monitoring Solutions: Deploy advanced monitoring tools to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Application and Tool Deployment: Install and maintain applications and tools to support our infrastructure.
- Customer Support: Assist with escalated customer tickets, providing top-notch support and solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Security Clearance: An active NSA TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Proven Experience: 3 years of hands-on Linux system administration experience.
- Versatile Knowledge: Understanding of both physical and virtual server environments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Experience in researching and creating effective solutions to close IAVA's.
- Automation Expertise: Proficiency with Ansible for automation tasks.
- VMware Environments: Experience in building and maintaining VMware environments.
- Security Certification: Security+ certification.
Education:
- Extensive Experience: 10 years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, or
- Academic Background: A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Alternative Experience: 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Desired:
- Cloud Experience: AWS experience is a plus.
- Scripting Skills: Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- Containerization: Docker experience is highly desirable.
