As a Security Professional - Commercial Real Estate Patrol in Leawood, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.
As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while assisting with security-related inquiries. You will help to deter incidents through your professional demeanor and exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous first point of contact.
- Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
- Assist with visitor registration, maintaining accurate logs and issuing visitor badges as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
- Communicate and coordinate with building management and/or emergency responders as appropriate during incidents.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity in the immediate area.
- Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and/or assisting with general inquiries related to the location.
- Complete daily activity reports and/or incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
