Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for Entry Level Test & Evaluation Lab Tech (Metrology & Calibration) (Level 1) to join our team in Heath, OH.
This role will support multiple program's at Heath Boeing Guidance Repair Center (BGRC). This work ranges from repair, calibration, and overall maintenance and support of the test equipment within Heath BGRC. Advising and assisting Metrology Engineers on procedures, standard substitutions, and various Metrology roles and needs. This is an exciting role that will immerse you within BDS and how we support the warfighter here at Heath BGRC!
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:
- Plan, conduct, and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies
- Design, fabricate, build and analyze test systems, materials, components, software and methodologies
- Coordinate test requirements, determines test methods and capabilities
- Conduct system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout and teardown
- Conduct tests, analyzes data and documents results; participates in test readiness reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory and test-related problems
- Coordinate test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs
- Work under general direction

- Experience using measurement and test equipment
- Experience working in a Metrology Lab
- Experience working in an Engineering Lab environment and/or comparable Military experience

- Associate's Degree or higher, a Technical certificate or degree, or 2 or more years of equivalent technical experience
