Description
Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is currently looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join us in support of the Air Logistics Center at Tinker AFB. This position is Monday-Friday, on-site full time. This position requires an active secret clearance.

Delaware Nation Industries (DNI) is currently looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join us in support of the Air Logistics Center at Tinker AFB. This position is Monday-Friday, on-site full time. This position requires an active secret clearance.
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database versions (e.g., 12c, 19c) across development, test, and production environments.
- Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including patching, backup verification, and storage management.
- Monitor database performance and assist with tuning queries, indexes, and database parameters.
- Ability to analyze existing systems and make recommendations on which technology best suits the business requirement for high availability, Disaster Recovery or high performance. Experience with Oracle Data Guard, Oracle recovery procedures and Enterprise Managers always-on monitoring is a plus.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Manager monitoring templates, how to define and modify site specific metric values for monitoring. Candidate should be familiar with Information Publisher Reporting. And how to establish an auto correct job within OEM.
- Candidate should be able to create Information Publisher Reports for statistics reporting. They should also be familiar with various Oracle diagnostic reports such as ADDM and AWR.
- Candidate should be able perform scripting, such as bash, Perl and Python. Candidate must be proficient in the use of SQL and PL/SQL. They should be able to create jobs in OEM and schedule jobs within crontab. Must be familiar with the UNIX operating system: Solaris, Linux or OEL. The candidate must be able to use the UNIX editor
- Knowledge of Oracle TDE (Transparent Data Encryption)
- Candidate should have a basic understanding of the multitenant architecture and knowledge of Unified Auditing maintenance and policies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA or similar role (internships included).
- Working knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, networking, memory structures, and storage concepts.
- Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, and basic scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
- Experience with RMAN, Data Pump, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Understanding of database security principles and user/role management.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Active Security+ certification (or higher)
- Active Secret clearance
