About The Role
Peraton is hiring a Lead Associate Data Routing Orchestration Systems Engineer to facilitate the government customer's management dataflows associated with a large High-Performance Computing (HPC) related program. This program is cutting edge and includes everything from HPC test planning and execution, architecture design and prototyping, and vendor outreach and collaboration support. Program technical areas include commercial cloud technologies, high performance computing, and enterprise architecture. The program is tactically important to the national security of the United States and the work on these missions are frequently recognized for their results and the Program Integrator will be directly involved in ensuring the government is successful in achieving their planned objectives of this growing, high-profile program.
Effective management of data routing is a critical task necessary for collected raw data to be transformed into actionable and reliable intelligence information in a timely fashion while simultaneously ensuring data integrity, fidelity and policy conformance.
The selected Systems Engineer will provide support that includes customer service, dataflow paths, organize dataflow implementation, identify ways to improve dataflow implementation and modernization efforts, and prioritize the customer's needs based on larger strategic priorities. Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

The Systems Engineer will:
- Provide support to a data flow and routing solutions (DFRS) systems engineering team to include data flow planning and implementation support across the government sponsor's organization and across the Intelligence Community.
- Plan and Orchestrate data management activities, including coordination of security tasks, execution of required metadata enrichment tasks, and automated data routing tasks are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide overall system engineering expertise in architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow, network design and/or implementation, or testing for the program.
- Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications.
- Assist government data movement plans by recommending system flow options, evaluating alternative approaches and by performing feasibility studies.
- Document/diagram interfacing systems.
- Manage enterprise data movement requirement Jira ticket queues. #AJCM
Qualifications
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
- High School diploma or GED and at least twelve (12) years of general systems engineering experience. OR
- Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university and at least seven (7) years of systems engineering experience. OR
- Master's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university and at least five (5) years of systems engineering experience. OR
- PhD in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university and at least three (3) years of systems engineering experience.
- Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Familiarity with basic Linux/Unix commands, file structures and basic command scripting is strongly desired, but not required.
