The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an action-oriented Operations Support Specialist to join our fast-paced counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) mission sustainment team mission that makes a difference to the warfighter on a daily basis. As a Sterling VA based operations team member, you will provide tier 1 & 2 maintenance for Globally deployed Signal processing systems. This role requires effective customer service skills, emphasizing problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills, contact handling procedures, incident management, and communication skills. Must be able to master the steps required to effectively manage and prioritize incidents, reduce escalations, and demonstrate the essential customer service skills required to improve overall customer satisfaction and maintain an excellent system availability score while learning the mission.

Responsibilities:
- Support various projects across US Navy and Air Force team.
- Provide first and second level support for inbound incidents and Service Requests
- Provide front line phone and email support related to system and application issues
- High comfort level working with technology at a fast pace
- Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve/route issues according to issue type and severity
- Good communication skills over the phone (polite, good listener, able to dissect customer descriptions into root problems to begin troubleshooting)
- Ability to multi-task, document issues and troubleshoot while speaking to someone on the phone
- Ability to teach others how to triage and troubleshoot complex IT problems
- Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools in support of DoD customer.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university and 3+ years of related experience is required. Five (5) years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- A TS/SCI clearance is the minimum requirement to begin employment. As a requirement of continued employment you will be required to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Bash Shell Scripting
- Familiarity with radio frequency (RF) systems and test equipment (spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, multimeter etc.)
- Experience troubleshooting Linux-based Operating Systems
- Experience with computer networking infrastructure products such as servers, switches, firewalls, and routers.
- Experience with client / server architectures
Desired:
- Linux Essentials certification
- Ability to configure a variety of hardware components.
- Experience in coordination and installation of systems to customer locations.
- Experience with C-UAS and/or RF software and hardware systems.
- Experience with DSP software and hardware.
- Understanding of SDR (Software Defined Radio) systems.
- Desired Certifications: (If applicable) Security+ or CISSP Certification
