• Will prepare recommendations for the Force Information Warfare Officer and develop departmental updates covering IW, EW, and Intelligence considerations affecting manning, training, and equipping.
• Coordinate regularly with USFFC, Fleet Cyber Command, NAVWAR, NWDC, Regional Maintenance Centers, ISEAs, Fleet Electronic Support, and Strike Group IWCs to maintain alignment with capability development, certification processes, and system integration requirements.
• Attend and support teleconferences, VTCs, and working groups, preparing minutes, visual aids, and action-tracking to maintain continuity across IW readiness activities.
• Information Warfare Advisor with at least ten years of Navy Information Warfare, cyber, or cryptologic experience, typically as a former IW officer, senior enlisted leader, or civilian equivalent.
Requirements:
• Hold a bachelor’s degree; a graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Operations Research, Cybersecurity, National Security Studies) will be preferred.
• Direct experience with fleet or TYCOM staff, be comfortable interpreting readiness metrics and status reports, and be able to brief CNSL leadership on IW risk and recommendations.
• Position will require an active SECRET clearance; TS/SCI eligibility will be preferred to support broader threat and intelligence integration when tasking requires it.
