Job Description:
The Technical Systems Administrator I is responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products. This role involves assisting in configuring and upgrading software, supporting the operation of software environments including incident response and problem-solving, and helping meet the IT needs of the business.
In this role, you will install, maintain, and upgrade internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products. You will assist in configuring and upgrading software to ensure optimal performance and compatibility while supporting the operation of software environments, including incident response and problem-solving. A key responsibility will be to help meet the IT needs of the business by providing technical support and solutions. You will monitor and maintain system performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align IT systems with business objectives. Additionally, you will maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and service records. Staying updated with the latest advancements in technology and industry trends will be essential, as will participating in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Typically entry-level position with 0 - 2 years of experience.
- Certification: varies by business system.
- Possesses a basic understanding of IT systems, software configuration, CI/CD, and business processes.
- Familiarity with software environments and upgrades.
Desired Skills:
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Experience with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and software applications.
