We are seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer with a strong background in Modeling and Simulation (M\&S) for advanced technical solutions. This role is critical to designing, developing, and validating complex models and simulations that support cutting-edge defense systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and document modeling and simulation requirements and architecture.
- Develop, verify, and validate complex models and simulations, including:
- Missile 6-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) simulations
- Effects-based simulations
- Evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and environments.
- Verify system and subsystem-level requirements.
- Conduct critical studies, analyses, and test activities.
- Support ground and flight test efforts, including Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) activities.
- Active Secret Clearance (mandatory).
- 3+ years of experience modeling weapon and sensor systems.
- 5+ years collaborating with subsystem and software engineers to integrate MATLAB models, C++ models, and tactical software into simulations.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with C++ and MATLAB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with complex simulation environments and performance evaluation.
- Familiarity with HWIL testing and integration processes.
