The Isidore customer base is predominantly commercial (approximately 90%), with select engagements supporting military and public-sector missions. We are seeking Sales Engineers who are equally comfortable operating in enterprise commercial environments and security-conscious government contexts.
Position Summary
We are seeking two exceptional Sales Engineers to lead technical engagement for the Isidore platform from early discovery through proof-of-concept deployment and production adoption. This role requires strong commercial sales acumen, enterprise networking expertise, and the ability to translate complex technical architectures into clear business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a hybrid technical and sales professional-capable of running technical discovery, whiteboarding enterprise architectures, handling objections, and delivering enterprise-grade execution. Sales Engineers partner closely with Account Executives, product teams, and customers to accelerate adoption, mitigate risk, and demonstrate measurable ROI.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Discovery & Solution Design
- Lead customer technical discovery sessions to understand business, security, and infrastructure requirements
- Whiteboard and explain enterprise network architectures, clearly articulating where the Isidore platform fits
- Design secure, scalable solutions aligned with customer environments and performance needs
- Conduct customer security architecture reviews and respond to security questionnaires
Enterprise Networking & Infrastructure Expertise
- Apply strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including:
- L2/L3 networking, routing, switching, firewalls, segmentation
- DMZ architectures, site-to-site VPNs, MPLS, and SD-WAN
- Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid integration patterns
- Latency, bandwidth, and performance considerations
- Support hardware appliance deployment, firmware/software updates, and lifecycle management
- Leverage Linux command-line tools, basic scripting (Python helpful), REST APIs, virtualization, and container fundamentals
POC Deployment & Technical Validation
- Define clear success criteria prior to proof-of-concept deployments
- Scope technical requirements and create structured test plans
- Identify and measure KPIs such as latency, throughput, key exchange time, and failover performance
- Conduct side-by-side benchmarking and document results professionally
- Translate technical findings into business impact, ROI, cost avoidance, and risk mitigation narratives
Sales Engineering & Customer Engagement
- Partner closely with Account Executives to support pipeline progression and deal strategy
- Run technical discovery calls, demos, workshops, and customer briefings
- Handle technical objections with confidence and credibility
- Support RFIs, RFPs, and proposals with accurate, compelling technical input
- Represent Forward Edge-AI at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences
Content & Practice Development
- Contribute to technical white papers, solution briefs, and reusable sales engineering assets
- Support continuous improvement of Isidore sales engineering processes and methodologies
- Maintain current knowledge of competitive offerings and emerging technologies
Qualifications
Required
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or in technical pre-sales
- Strong experience supporting commercial enterprise customers
- Proven ability to work alongside Account Executives and support complex sales cycles
- Ability to confidently whiteboard enterprise networks and explain architectural tradeoffs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Valid U.S. Passport or ability to obtain one
Preferred
- Experience with AI-enabled, cybersecurity, or secure infrastructure products
- Knowledge of quantum computing concepts and their relevance to advanced enterprise or defense use cases
- Experience delivering pilots, demos, or POCs for enterprise or federal customers
- Familiarity with DoD and Intelligence Community environments (helpful, not primary)
- Experience operating in fast-paced, high-stakes commercial sales environments
