Insight Global is hiring 30+ TRAVELING VoIP Network Test Engineer to join our team supporting a newly awarded FAA Program!
The selected candidates will be traveling to different airports and FAA Facilities where they will help install, configure, test, and validate VoIP systems and network infrastructure for a large modernization effort for FAA Ground to Air Communication Systems. This role involves designing and executing end-to-end testing of VoIP solutions, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring operational readiness for enterprise-level deployments.
THIS POSITION IS A TRAVELING POSITION, UP TO 75% OF THE TIME. Please only apply if you're comfortable with this requirement.
Minimum job requirements include:
- Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of VoIP Networking experience preferably doing testing or implementations
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time. When not traveling, candidate will work onsite at of the FAA Regional offices listed in the posting.
- Mid to Senior level experience installing, Deploying, and performing end to end testing of enterprise VoIP solutions.
- Strong background in networking including configuring and analyzing VoIP networks, computing infrastructure, software deployments
- Proficient with project orchestration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams
- Proficient in Linux OS configuration, installation and debugging (CentOS or Oracle), as well as VM’s.
- Ability to travel to customer sites for installs and acceptance testing.
- Ability to obtain FAA Public Trust Suitability
As mentioned, Insight Global is hiring 30+ candidates for this role and exact pay rates will vary based on candidates level of experience, expertise, and geographical location, but our anticipated pay ranges from 110K - 155K.
