The SIGINT SME is a recognized authority in signals intelligence and provides strategic-level analysis, technical expertise, and advisory support to senior government leaders and mission stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary SIGINT subject matter authority for assigned mission areas
- Provide expert-level analysis of advanced communications and electronic systems
- Guide SIGINT analytic methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Support policy development, intelligence strategy, and senior decision-making
- Advise on collection capabilities, limitations, and future requirements
- Mentor senior analysts and shape workforce development
Required Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Deep expertise in SIGINT operations, systems, and analytic tradecraft
- Proven ability to influence strategic outcomes
- Exceptional advisory, briefing, and technical communication skills
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred
- Minimum 20 years total experience, including at least 15 years of specialized SIGINT experience
