HX5 is currently seeking a Senior Acquisition Program Manager to join the team at Eglin, AFB in Niceville, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, evaluate, and implement program acquisition strategies following DoD 5000.2 guidance.
- Research and analyze system acquisition for weapons systems; formulate plans and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
- Support and develop statutory and regulatory acquisition reports (e.g., DAES, MAR).
- Assist with program management reviews, senior-level meetings, and IMP/IMS reviews; prepare briefings and schedules on program status and acquisition tasks.
- Provide advice and assistance in source selection tasks, including developing evaluation criteria, documentation, and responses; analyze and review proposals as a non-decision-making advisor.
- Develop and update program risk management plans; facilitate risk identification, analysis, handling, and monitoring; support risk management boards and working groups.
- Support Agile development and management processes with Government and contractors.
- Create Business Case Analyses, trade studies, acquisition milestone documents, program assessments, AoA reports, market research, and strategy briefings.
- Develop program management documentation for all acquisition life cycle phases.
- Assist with managing product life cycle data requirements, including CDRLs, DIDs, and database management.
- Prepare briefings to support acquisition decision milestones.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and twenty-five (25) years of professional experience
- OR master's degree and fifteen (15) years of professional experience
Preferences:
- Prior DoD acquisition experience, DAU courses or certifications
- Prior production experience or source selection experience
- PMP certification
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time on-site position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance by date of hire.
