Position Summary
The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for the operation, security, governance, and performance of the SharePoint and M365 environment. This role ensures the platform is secure, reliable, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer SharePoint Online and M365, including sites, permissions, storage, and configurations.
- Manage governance, security, compliance, and access controls.
- Monitor system health, performance, and usage; resolve operational issues.
- Support migrations, upgrades, and platform enhancements.
- Develop and enforce standards, procedures, and operational documentation.
- Interface with infrastructure, security, and support teams on production issues.
- Review system designs to ensure alignment with enterprise and security standards.
- Research and evaluate new M365 and SharePoint capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience administering SharePoint in an enterprise or complex IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online and M365 administration.
- Experience with security, permissions, governance, and compliance.
- Familiarity with Power Platform from an administrative/governance perspective.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- IAT Level II certification or SharePoint-related certification (or ability to obtain)
