Job Description
An exciting opportunity to apply your Minuteman III (MMIII) weapon system expertise and strategic planning/thinking skills to supply chain risk management and solving complex supply related issues, such as parts obsolescence.
As the DMSMS Manager you'll lead our organization's efforts in managing and mitigating the risks associated with diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of our supply chain, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical, business, and communication skills, as well as experience with engineering change management, design for manufacturability, and supplier qualification and development. You will work with an experienced team of supply, obsolescence, and Supply Chain Risk Management experts, using state-of-the-art data and analysis tools to identify parts and vendor risks and develop mitigation strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and manufacturing, to drive supply chain resilience and continuity.
As the DMSMS Manager, you will also work closely with engineers to assess the technical feasibility of alternative parts and suppliers, requiring a deep understanding of the technical, engineering, and programmatic implications of DMSMS-related decisions.

Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage employees, focus on developing a comprehensive DMSMS strategy, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Conduct a thorough review of technical drawings to accurately capture and validate parts data, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the information used to support the Minuteman III (MMIII) weapon system. This critical task involves:
- Meticulously reviewing technical drawings to identify and extract relevant parts data
- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of captured data to ensure consistency
- Collaborating with engineers and technical teams to resolve discrepancies and validate data
- Updating and maintaining accurate records of parts data to support continued system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineering technical teams to support updates to Technical Orders, ensuring personnel have access to accurate and current information to facilitate safe and effective system maintenance and operation
- Develop and implement a comprehensive DMSMS strategy to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain optimization
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation plans to support DMSMS initiatives
- Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders on DMSMS-related matters
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on DMSMS and material shortages
- Proven engineering experience reviewing technical drawings and technical orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with weapon system requirements and configurations
- Ability to analyze complex engineering data and develop actionable insights
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful DMSMS strategies
- Strong understanding of DMSMS principles, including risk management, supplier management, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
- Experience with DMSMS tools and software
