Overview
LMI seeks a Logistics Analyst to provide support to our Army client onsite at Fort Lee, VA. The position supports the Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) Organizational Development Directorate (ODD) in the assessment of force structure, Total Army Analysis (TAA), and other logistics requirements of the Army Quartermaster Corps. Successful candidates will demonstrate competency in critical thinking and data analysis while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior. This position cannot be worked remotely.

Responsibilities
- Conduct research into logistics operations (primarily Class III), including literature reviews, interviews, and site visits.
- Canvass logistics databases, integrate data from numerous sources, and manipulate the data for analysis of courses of action.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of logistics operations, including application of analytical and what-if.
- Synthesize project findings into actionable recommendations with demonstrable benefits in business performance.
- Communicate with clients through written reports and oral presentations.
- Coordinate and staff recommendations with multiple agencies.
- Assist in marketing of consulting services, including market research, teaming arrangements, competitive analysis, and creation of marketing publications.
- Assist in business performance assessment and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required. Degree in engineering, operations research, mathematics, busness analytics or a related discipline preferred.
- 5 years of relevant logistics work experience.
- Army knowledge/experience preferred.
- Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use spreadsheet, business intelligence tools, databases, and project management software.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
- Current U.S. Government security clearance preferred, ability to obtain one is required.
- Available for occasional travel.
- Microsoft Power BI knowledge (desired)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance in a timely manner is required.
