The Tomahawk Sr Program Manager supports Production/Recert portfolio, responsible for the Production Maintenance Notifications, Engineering Services and Obsolescence, reporting directly to the Tomahawk Production Director. This position will lead the program strategy for obsolescence surveillance, management, mitigation and integration into production/recert manufacturing capability as well as manage Recert maintenance notifications that are utilized for over and above contract actions, depot, and attrition material procurement.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting obsolescence program execution including early identification of issues, collaborating with program and customer stakeholders to securing funding for mitigation paths and developing/maintaining integrated master schedules for plans that enable production program execution. The selected candidate will be responsible for the proposal, negotiation, award, and overall management of their applicable contracts. This Program Manager will also provide guidance and help with overseeing the activities of the MN/ESS Program Integrator. The duties include coordination of all activities necessary to maintain excellence in engineering and integration of the Nation's weapon of choice. The PM will work collaboratively with supply chain, finance, quality and engineering to ensure customer satisfaction and ultimately the warfighter needs. The PM is responsible for the cost, schedule, and financial metrics.

The Sr Program Manager will coordinate with key program stakeholders including PMA counterparts, program managers across the portfolio as well as functional leads, to align and execute the MNs/ESS contracts and a production obsolescence program that supports schedule and technical performance requirements meeting short term and long-term program objectives. In addition to developing, implementing, and tracking key program metrics, the Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring consistent, coordinated and accurate reporting to the internal and external customer(s).

Will You Will Do:
  • Assist with the day-to-day obsolescence program execution cadence
  • Lead the Recert MN and ESS team to meet cost, schedule and quality goals
  • Establish/review metrics, define tasks, provide direction and prioritize activities
  • Provide senior level leadership briefings
  • Manage proposals through contract award
  • Lead obsolescence mitigation plan execution and status reporting
  • Ensure contracts meet cost, schedule and technical requirements
  • Some domestic and international travel

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years' experience
  • Prior experience using one or more of the following program management tools: Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management or similar business processes / programs
  • Prior experience with managing and balancing technical/cost/schedule constraints
  • Prior experience with proposal execution


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Raytheon Program Management certification, Level 5 or equivalent
  • Display ability to foster collaboration between functional organizations and affect integrated solutions
  • Knowledge of Integrated Product Development tools and processes
  • Background in program planning and successful implementation
  • Knowledge of financial processes (Estimate At Completion)
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Cost Estimating/BOE generation
  • Raytheon Earned Value Certification
  • Experience in supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, and finance

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
