About The Role
Peraton requires Network LAN/WAN Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3.
This position is located at MacDill AFB, FL.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
This role focuses on supporting Airborne, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN-ISR) operations. The Network Administrator will be responsible for the secure and reliable transfer of data across various networks, including the SIE and the public internet, while adhering to strict DoD security and compliance standards.

Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

- Secure Network Management: Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN DMVPN services, firewalls, encryptors, VPNs, routers, and switches for AISR and SDN-ISR networks.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure secure data transfer across internal and external networks, in compliance with DoD, DIA, DISA, USCYBERCOM, and USSOCOM policies.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve issues with enterprise-level data, voice, and video networks, and manage IP-based SATCOM solutions.
- Infrastructure Oversight: Oversee the maintenance of LAN, WAN, and VoIP infrastructures, including routers, switches, and network security devices.
- High-Level Technical Support: Act as a top-tier technical expert for a wide range of networking technology.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- Min 12 years with HS Diploma, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA degree, 6 years with a MS/MA degree, 3 years with PhD
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- 8570 IAT II Certified AND CCNA
- Extensive experience in network administration in secure, enterprise-level environments.
- Expertise in managing DMVPN, firewalls, routing/switching, and VoIP systems
- Experience with Multicast, Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP), and Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM).
- In-depth knowledge of DoD, DISA, and USCYBERCOM security policies and network standards.
- Experience with IP satellite (SATCOM) technologies and vendor management.
