We are seeking a Junior-Level Acquisition Support Specialist to join our team supporting the Air Force Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (AF JWICS) Program Management Office (PMO). This position will focus on post-award contract administration, documentation management, and general acquisition support in a structured federal/DoD environment.

Job Duties

Support post-award contract administration activities, including tracking contract actions, maintaining documentation, and assisting with contract execution tasks.
Assist with monitoring contract performance and ensuring required administrative actions are completed in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
Coordinate with government personnel and internal team members to address day-to-day contract administration needs and facilitate timely actions.
Maintain organized, accurate contract files and records to support audits, reviews, reporting requirements, and compliance obligations.
Provide backup support for pre-award acquisition activities as needed to ensure continuity of services and program performance.
Assist in the preparation of acquisition documentation, data gathering, and administrative support for acquisition planning efforts.
Support communication and coordination across acquisition team members to promote efficient and timely contract processing.
Perform additional acquisition, contracting, and program support duties as assigned to help achieve program objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, contracting, acquisition, program management, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Basic understanding of the federal acquisition or contracting life cycle (gained through education, formal training, or entry-level professional experience).
Ability to follow established processes and procedures while providing reliable administrative and documentation support in a compliance-focused environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong skills in organizing and maintaining records/files.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication/coordination abilities to support multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior exposure to Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal acquisition/contracting environments.
Hands-on familiarity with contract administration tasks, such as document preparation, contract file maintenance, or related support activities.
Demonstrated interest in professional growth and development within acquisition, contracting, or program support career paths.
