Software Engineer supporting MDA's GMD Weapons System (GWS) program on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) Automated Test and Verification (ATV) Team
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include developing automation related software products in an agile environment in support of the GWS contract execution on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)

Software Engineer (GMD Automated Test & Verification)

Software Engineer supporting MDA's GMD Weapons System (GWS) program on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) Automated Test and Verification (ATV) Team
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include developing automation related software products in an agile environment in support of the GWS contract execution on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation software products aligned with GWS program goals
- Contribute to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirements, development, integration, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate in an Agile team setting using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Fisheye/Crucible
- Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices in coordination with cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Software Engineering or Computer Science preferred)
- Professional development experience using Python
- Experience with components of the Software Development Life Cycle- software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment
- Familiarity with Agile software development using tools like Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in software development for test automation
- Experience using Jenkins and Elasticsearch
- Experience with Scrum leadership roles (Scrum Master or Product Owner)
- Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
