Overview
The Lead Information Assurance/Cyber Security Program Manager provides Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (CCSD), also known as AFLCMC/HNC or HNC, life-cycle management for Information Assurance (IA) and other critical systems.
Responsibilities
· Assist in identifying inefficiencies, mapping current workflows, proposing improvements, and monitoring process performance.
· Support the Government in facilitating continuous improvement sessions, such as retrospectives, planning events, and daily stand-ups, where applicable and align/tailor process improvement tools and methodologies with Government objectives and specific needs of each functional section.
· Provide monthly analysis of networks, systems, and workstations to identify potential vulnerabilities. The analysis shall include documented findings, recommended corrective actions, and proposed mitigation strategies to reduce or eliminate vulnerabilities.
· Support and oversee all HNC systems throughout the RMF process, ensuring compliance with applicable DoW and Air Force cybersecurity requirements. Responsibilities include tracking RMF activities and documentation, coordinating with Program Managers (PMs), and reporting progress to the Government Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Information System Security Officer (ISSO), as required by AFI 17-101.
· Ensure and monitor compliance with all applicable vulnerability directives, including Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) IA Vulnerability Bulletin (IAVB) Technical Orders (TO), and Time Compliance Networking Orders (TCNOs). Provide support to ensure all systems remain in compliance with established security requirements.
· Ensure the timely and thorough validation of all applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) across systems, software, and configurations.
Qualifications
Required:
· Bachelor's Degree in IT related degree with 4 years experience OR Bacehlor Degree with minimum 6 years of relevant experience
· Maintain current required certifications.
· Have and maintain IAT Level II baseline certification,
· Have and maintain a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
· Registered IAT Level II baseline certification: either CCNA Security, CySA+**, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CND and SSCP (preferred Security+ CE certificate)
· TS/SCI Clearance
· Valid Counter Intelligence (CI) Polygraph in order to obtain NSA access and perform maintenance on NSA servers
