Overview

The Lead Project Manager provides Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (CCSD), also known as AFLCMC/HNC or HNC, life-cycle management for Information Assurance (IA) and other critical systems.

Responsibilities

· Assist in identifying inefficiencies, mapping current workflows, proposing improvements, and monitoring process performance.

· Support the Government in facilitating continuous improvement sessions, such as retrospectives, planning events, and daily stand-ups, where applicable and align/tailor process improvement tools and methodologies with Government objectives and specific needs of each functional section.

· Communicate with all other sections within HNC-TO and appropriate host base units, such as 502d, 690th, AF JWICS, and NSA, ensuring baseline configurations are approved and appropriate IT assets are assigned and ready for deployment upon customer requirements and need dates.

· Primary responsibility is to coordinate, develop, and manage plans that align with organizational goals, ensuring the effective execution of supported programs.

· Develop and maintain long-term strategic plans for Government approval to ensure that the efforts align with the overall organizational goals and objectives. The office will regularly assess future needs and priorities, ensuring adaptability to changes in mission scope, available funding, and external factors affecting the organization's operations.

· Identify potential risks to the success of the programs and implement mitigation strategies to reduce these risks. The Plans and Programs Office will ensure that risks are continuously assessed and that appropriate contingency plans are developed to address any issues that may arise, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of service.

· Establish systems to track and measure the performance of supported efforts; provide regular updates and performance reports to the government, including progress toward goals, challenges encountered, and implemented solutions. These reports will include key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor program health and provide transparency into the execution process.

· Actively pursue opportunities for program optimization and improvement. Through regular program reviews, lessons learned, and feedback collection, the Plans and Programs Office will implement changes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and overall program outcomes. This continuous improvement process will support the organization in adapting to changing conditions and ensuring that programs deliver optimal value.

Qualifications

Required:

· Bachelor's Degree in Management or IT related degree with 4 years experience OR bachelor's degree with minimum 6 years of relevant experience

· Senior level experience and be well versed in Information Technology practices

· PMI Agile Certified Practitioner Certification

· Registered IAT Level II baseline certification: either CCNA Security, CySA+**, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CND and SSCP (preferred Security+ CE certificate)

· Proficiency in Microsoft Project in addition to other planning tools

· Secret Clearance
