Senior ISR Video Engineer

The Opportunity

The Senior ISR Video Engineer is responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end full-motion video (FMV) and data distribution architectures supporting Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations across airborne, ground, and maritime environments.
This role serves as the technical thought leader for ISR video and distribution and interoperability across tactical edge systems and enterprise networks. The position requires expertise in ISR video standards, network architectures, and real-time video workflows supporting the DOW, DHS, DOS, and IC.
The individual will work closely with government customers and operational users to elicit requirements and communicate with internal product, engineering, and business development teams to deliver product-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

• ISR Video Architecture Design and Integration
• Design end-to-end FMV architectures spanning:
• Sensor payloads
• Surveillance systems
• Airborne platforms (UAS, manned ISR)
• Tactical edge compute
• On-premise compute systems
• Tactical and enterprise transport networks
• Enterprise and cloud environments
• Define architectures for ISR video and data distribution across permissive, contested, denied, and bandwidth-limited environments.
• Research, Test and Evaluation of new tactical camera systems for austere environments
• Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) theory and principle, and the effects of systems operating in an electronic countermeasures environment
• Operational & Mission Support
• Translate operational ISR requirements into product-base solution architectures.
• Support exercises, demonstrations, and operational deployments.
• Provide operational support and troubleshoot video and data transport issues.
• Technical Leadership
• Provide FMV technical expertise for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support proposal development, white papers, and technical volumes.
• Communicate customer driven requirements to engineering teams for video distribution features
• Mentor junior engineers and solution architects.
