Software Engineer Level 2

Jovian Concepts LLC is looking to hire a Software Engineer Level 2 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.x26nbsp;

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph is required to be considered.

Seeking a reliable engineer capable of implementing containerized application workflows and infrastructure automation using modern DevOps and cloud-native tooling.x26nbsp;

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of deployment pipelines and Helm charts
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and infrastructure teams to integrate services
• Work with Kubernetes tooling (Helm, GitOps, etc.) to support scalable deployments
• Follow team standards and participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Implement and test logic to handle common app deployment patterns, secrets, and config maps
• Support internal efforts to standardize and document reusable application deployment templates

Requirements

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph is required to be considered.

• Fourteen (14)x26nbsp;years experiencex26nbsp;as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, andx26nbsp;complexity isx26nbsp;required.x26nbsp;
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciencex26nbsp;or related discipline from an accredited college or university isx26nbsp;required. Four (4) years ofx26nbsp;additionalx26nbsp;SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.x26nbsp;

Core Skills Required

• Comfortable coding in Go, Python, or TypeScript
• Familiar with GitOps workflows and CI/CD tools like ArgoCD or Fleet
• Experience with Kubernetes manifests, Helm, Docker
• Understands basic concepts of infrastructure-as-code and Linux system operations
• Can debug and troubleshoot in a containerized environment
