Offensive Security Operations Engineer
This high-priority role supports the RECON team within advanced security operations, focusing on technical solutions that deliver immediate operational impact. You will operate in a highly collaborative capacity across multiple product teams to design and implement mission-critical systems.

Experience Required: 12 years with Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or 16 years without degree
Location: Columbia, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required
Salary Range: $204,000 - $247,000
This high-priority role supports the RECON team within advanced security operations, focusing on technical solutions that deliver immediate operational impact. You will operate in a highly collaborative capacity across multiple product teams to design and implement mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the customers' mission, collaborate with team members, gather user requirements, and quickly develop solutions.
- Independently drive feature development taking ownership of the entire development lifecycle.
- Integrate with, and contribute to, a diverse set of teams, systems, and technology stacks.
- Design and create reliable, intuitive user interfaces and workflows.
- Develop cutting-edge solutions for data visualizations, task automation, and workflow enhancements.
- Technology flexibility, demonstrated by experience developing across the stack (UI/UX, middleware/API, back-end, and DevOps), and a willingness to use any necessary technology to achieve the solution.
- Experience developing with at least one UI framework (React, Vue, Angular).
- Experience writing scripts and services in Python.
- RESTful web application experience using both Spring Boot and Python.
- Familiarity with Relational Databases (Postgres, SQLite, etc.).
- Familiarity with GitLab (CI/CD).
- Prior offensive security operations experience.
- Knowledge of end-to-end signals intelligence collection and analysis systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
