The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for supporting and implementing DevOps capabilities to support a large web application development effort for a federal client. The candidate will ensure Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) controls and processes are followed for application code released into non-production and production environments. Candidate should have experience with container application platforms / Platform as a Service (PaaS), including OpenShift. The ideal candidate will be a jack of all trades technologist with the ability to pick up new skills quickly.

- 2+ years' experience using Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
- 2+ years of work experience with Web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, JSP, etc.)
- 1+ years' experience using Kubernetes
- 1+ years' experience using OpenShift
- Must be able to provide ad hoc support after standard business hours and over the weekend
- Ability to report onsite 2-3x a week in Columbia, MD
- Final DoD Secret Security Clearance

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, other relevant field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Advanced computing certification preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in Systems Engineering/Analysis

- Ability to work with various programming languages, operating systems, and computer hardware platforms.
- Proven ability to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve complicated technical issues.
- Demonstrated capability to creatively solve complex requirements needs.
- Strong experience applying process and systems engineering, analytics and operations research methods at every phase of a project.
