Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Front-End Developer to support a government program. The selected candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership in front-end architecture, UI/UX design, and user-focused application development within a secure DevSecOps environment.
This role requires strong analytical capabilities to support requirements definition, process improvement, functional modeling, and system design while ensuring performance, usability, and compliance with program standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s may substitute for 2 years of experience)
10 years of experience in the functional area
10 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages
5 years of recent front-end web design and development experience
Demonstrated experience in system testing and documentation
Experience with agile, user-centric UI/UX design
Experience generating wireframes and mockups for multiple user personas
5 years of experience with Jira or similar bug tracking tools
5 years of experience testing web-based applications
5 years of experience leading software development programs or projects
Experience developing in cloud environments
5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab
5 years of experience with at least five of the following: Apache, Ember, JavaScript, Java, Node
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Agile Test-Driven Development
Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments
Experience with UX design tools such as Sketch or InVision
5 years of CI/CD development experience
