Learning Management Specialist

Position title: SME LMS Course Specialist

Location: Fort Sill, OK

Clearance required: SECRET

Position Summary: Subject Matter Expert for the Army Training Information System (ATIS) and Blackboard LMS. Facilitates online distributed learning and course framework customization.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Manage course lifecycles using approved Blackboard Naming Conventions.
• Train instructors and course managers on LMS functions (test design, gradebooks).
• Act as primary POC for user enrollment and access authorization.
• Monitor system performance and collaborate with ATSC for software upgrades.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active SECRET clearance is mandatory.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 2+ years of experience administering courses in an Army LMS (Blackboard).
• Must complete mandatory Army Blackboard modules (101-301) within 30 days of award.
• IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE).
