Full Stack Developer for DAT Team
The Full Stack Developer will be part of the Section 7 DAT team, focusing on improving mission processes for the customer by developing custom applications and data visualizations. This role involves working closely with the mission customer to collect requirements, feedback, and provide support across various tasks.
Responsibilities:
Experience Required: 12 years with Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or 16 years without a degree
Location: Columbia, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required
Salary Range: $204,000 - $247,000
The Full Stack Developer will be part of the Section 7 DAT team, focusing on improving mission processes for the customer by developing custom applications and data visualizations. This role involves working closely with the mission customer to collect requirements, feedback, and provide support across various tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop scripts and analytics to provide novel insights into unique questions.
- Aggregate data from disparate sources and integrate them into new and existing tools.
- Create new UIs and visualizations to enhance customer understanding of their data.
- Elicit requirements and feedback directly from end-users and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other DAT teams and quality control groups to share expertise.
- Experience developing in Python for data transformations.
- Proficiency in writing frontend web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript (React).
- Knowledge of querying and developing in a big data environment.
- Experience managing Linux servers.
- Experience with AWS.
- Familiarity with additional programming languages or frameworks such as Java, FastAPI, Angular, Spring Boot.
- Motivation to mentor and teach others.
- Knowledge of AI/ML tools (DuckDB, Polars, Pandas, Spark).
