Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an On-Site Project Manager to support KPS and our government customer. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

The On-Site Project Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of operations and will serve as the primary liaison between the contractor and government stakeholders. They should be able to effectively lead a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and ensure high-quality deliverables that meet all federal requirements and standards. This role must be able to work on-site in Washington, DC.
Key Responsibilities:
Senior-level position responsible for overseeing and leading large and complex projects within an organization. Duties include managing project portfolios, defining project strategies, leading project teams, ensuring project quality, and managing project risks. Responsible for overall management of the contract. Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and production of all support activities. Responsible for the performance of all contract requirements. Meets with Government management personnel, contractor managers, and other federal stakeholders. Formulates and reviews management plan, quality control plan, consulting arrangements, and contract deliverables. Ensures conformity with contract terms and conditions
Ensures coordination between personnel and central management functions within the organization and between appropriate Government personnel. Assigns, schedules, and reviews subordinates' work. Acts and coordinates policies and activities with appropriate Government personnel. Actively applies quality assurance measures to contract management. Duties may include:

- Develop project plans, defining project scopes, coordinating project resources, monitoring project progress, and ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Oversee and manage a team of administrative and technical professionals supporting a federal agency, including project staff, consultants, and administrative staff
- Manage and supervise project staff, including assigning duties, scheduling, and reviewing work
- Supervise all contract responsibilities and keep consistent communication with Government management, contractor managers, and federal stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Possess experience in budget management and resource allocation
- Develop and review management plans, quality control plans, consulting arrangements, and contract deliverables
- Lead and coordinate specialized work efforts to deliver unique and customized solutions
- Oversee the creation of reports, correspondence, and presentations for the Senior Management Team
- Manage project portfolios; define project strategies; lead project teams; ensure project quality; and manage project risks

- Oversee the implementation of data analysis and reporting processes that inform and improve the quality, responsiveness, and effectiveness in supporting a federal agency
Education:
- Bachelor of Arts Degree and 8 years of related experience.
- Related experience refers to professional experience managing client services projects of the size, scope, and complexity similar to the projects.
Position Requirements:
- Proven knowledge of Head Start and Early Head Start programs or early childhood education
- Demonstrates knowledge of, and experience in, the management and administration of high-quality services, with proven corporate experience in managing and administering work as described in the scope of work
- Capacity to provide sufficient experienced, qualified staff with the proven ability to perform the tasks described in the scope of work, with knowledge of Head Start and Early Head Start programs and early childhood education.
- Capability to assign staff needed to meet unforeseen, urgent assignments
- Experience in computer software applications (Windows 2010, Excel, PowerPoint, ACCESS, SharePoint), and other Government/Federal systems
- Strong project management skills and experience with project management software, data analysis, and reporting
- Effective leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work on-site in Washington, DC
- Knowledge and experience related to the Program and Grants Management task activities are preferred
- PMP preferred
