Summary:
• Manage and contribute to the full system engineering lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Provide expert Linux system administration, covering installation, configuration, and secure authentication methods.
• Perform comprehensive software testing, identifying and resolving complex system and application issues.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and utilities using Bash and Python for system efficiency.
• Implement and manage containerized applications and infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply expertise in dataflow management, configuration management tools like Ansible and Salt, Kubernetes package management with Helm, and modern DevOps methodologies.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 6+ years
• Salary: $199k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Lead and contribute to the entire Systems Engineering lifecycle, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Perform advanced Linux Systems Administration tasks including installation, configuration, patching, and secure user authentication.
• Conduct thorough Software Testing, including integration and system-level tests, to ensure high-quality deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, software, and infrastructure issues efficiently.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Bash and Python for operational tasks and deployments.
• Implement and manage containerization strategies utilizing Docker for application packaging and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Design, implement, and optimize dataflow processes and architectures.
• Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible and Salt for infrastructure automation and consistency.
• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters using Helm charts.
• Drive and integrate DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), into daily operations.
