Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to design, develop, and maintain high-quality data solutions in support of mission-critical systems. This role focuses on managing and optimizing database environments, supporting enterprise data architectures, and ensuring data quality and performance across complex systems.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong experience in Oracle database technologies, data processing, and cloud environments, and thrives in a collaborative Agile setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions to support enterprise applications
• Develop and optimize database structures, data models, and data load processes for analytical and operational use cases
• Manage relational databases, including data cleansing, transformation, and processing of structured data
• Develop and maintain database objects such as views, triggers, and stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL
• Perform testing and quality assurance to ensure data integrity, reliability, and system performance
• Support and enhance existing Oracle database environments and data tiers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with enterprise strategies and improve data quality
• Integrate and support cloud-based database solutions using AWS services such as RDS, S3, and notification systems
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, execution, and delivery
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in database performance, scalability, and architecture

Required Qualifications

• Must be fully cleared with a recent polygraph
• Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 15+ years of experience in database administration, software engineering, or related disciplines
• Strong experience with Oracle database technologies and PostgreSQL
• Experience developing and maintaining data structures and data load routines for analytical applications
• Experience working with structured data processing, transformation, and data quality practices
• Experience developing database objects such as views, triggers, and PL/SQL procedures
• Experience performing testing and quality assurance within database-driven environments
• Experience working with AWS services such as RDS, S3, and messaging/notification services
• Experience working in Agile development environments and project management frameworks
• Experience aligning data architecture with enterprise-level strategies

Desired Qualifications

• Experience serving as a Scrum Master or working closely within Agile teams
• Experience with AWS data migration or cloud migration services
• Experience using tools such as Jira for tracking and collaboration
• Experience presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working with multiple types of data repositories, including relational, NoSQL, and distributed systems
