SharePoint System Administrator

Job Title: SharePoint System Administrator

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
  • Build and automate workflows using Power Automate
  • Develop data models and secure data environments using Dataverse
  • Integrate solutions with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure services, and other approved systems
  • Support organizational process improvement through efficient, scalable low-code solutions
  • Create user interfaces, documentation, and training materials
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and iterative enhancements
  • Maintain documentation for solutions, processes, and system changes
  • Learn and support additional low-code/no-code platforms as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
  • Experience integrating Power Platform with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and external data sources
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and access controls
  • Ability to analyze business processes and convert them into automated solutions
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, secure environment
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Systems, or equivalent experience

Preferred:

  • Experience with Power BI, Azure DevOps, or additional Microsoft cloud services
  • Familiarity with other low‑code/no‑code technologies
  • Experience in government, DoD, or other regulated environments
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL‑100, PL‑200, PL‑400)
  • Experience with SQL, API integrations, or basic scripting
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional classroom and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone, keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install/repair computer equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting is required.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Workdays do not include working or conducting business on Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed closings.

Travel: Minimal travel, less than 10%, may be required.
