Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, research, and secure sponsorship opportunities aligned with ACS Expo initiatives, including Pharma-focused programming and panel series
  • Develop and sell custom sponsorship packages tailored to targeted segments within the scientific community
  • Establish and manage pricing strategies for specialized sponsorship campaigns
  • Actively generate new business through cold outreach, lead follow-up, and networking at industry events
  • Attend regional and specialty conferences to prospect and close new sponsorship deals
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and contracting
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across marketing, fulfillment, and partner organizations to ensure successful campaign execution
  • Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, client interactions, and closed business within CRM systems
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly revenue tracking reports
  • Partner with marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies and campaign performance
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure all sponsorship deliverables are executed successfully


Experience Requirements: Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in event sponsorships, media, or advertising
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong experience managing the full sales lifecycle, including closing deals
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, events, and pricing strategies simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools


Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree and relevant work experience is required for this position.
