Job description
We are looking for a few Electronics Technicians to support air traffic and maintenance for aviation/electronics systems in Kwajalein, Marshall Islands. This has been an ongoing contract for decades and you would be a salaried employee (no US tax, however there is a 5% local tax that you can write-off). You’ll be working on all of the comm, navigation, and surveillance tech to include radios, transceivers, repeaters, light guns, etc.
It's a pretty remote location, but there are thousands of contractors and inhabitants that you’ll be around so you don’t feel alone. The island and weather are beautiful and if you love tropics and the outdoors, you’ll be in your element.
-Location: Marshall Islands (relatively close to the Philippines and Australia)
-Mission: Provide Air Traffic Control maintenance and services to provide a safe, efficient, and effective airfield environment for aircraft operations and management of all maintenance personnel

-Openings:
> Level II at $120,000
> Level III at $145,000
-Onboarding: Can take 1-1.5 months to get medically cleared but depends on how hasty they are at making the appt and getting in!

Basic Qualifications:
Secret clearance
3-5+ years of hands-on experience in electronics repair, maintenance and testing air traffic control (ATC) surveillance radar systems.
3+ years of hands-on experience performing preventive maintenance, installations, repairs, and troubleshooting Electronic systems or equipment
Digital Airport Surveillance Radars Systems (DASR), and Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) certification. (only required for Level I position)
AA Degree or military technical school, class A or B in electronics for radar systems
